Having fun

Just got my conure two days ago and he enjoys being on me, likes hanging out on my hands and shoulders. I take him around the house, we find food in the kitchen to share, fruit mostly. He likes water occasionally. But I can't get him to play yet, he won't let me put him on the floor, won't get off me. He just sits on me or on his perch tree. He likes to boss me to go get him haha. But I have him out for many many hours, do you think he is bored or or just taking time get used to things?

You just got him. Takes him time to start being himself although does seem as if he is very comfortable with you which is a good thing. You might be his protector right now and that is why he wants to stay with you so much. He is in a new environment and nothing is familiar.
