Yeah, it is very scary actually.
She is so sweet! I saw a video of her where the bird was clearly holding it's foot out to be picked up by a reporter, but the reporter wasn't responding 
. Don't think she knew what it meant.
I didn't know either, but I read a story somewhere about a bird that tested postive and it was recommended to put the bird down, the owner declined since the bird was not in ill health, and the bird miraculously regained all feathering and was then retested and tested negative, so the bird's immune system killed off the disease. The owner said she let the bird eat whatever it wanted thinking it wouldn't live for long, with the exception of things like chocolate and avacado and other toxic foods.
