Happy hatch day news!
As a "fun" midway-hatchday surprise we took Rhubarb and Lìmone to the vet (his hatchday is March 15).
Rhubarb's blood uric acid was 7.3 mg/dL! (Normal for RB2s is under 11 mg/dL.) That's well within normal! We're going to be able to decrease her medicine again!!!
They both got lots of scritches and loves after their vet adventure. Rhuber received a birthday treat of oatmeal with cinnamon, rotini pasta, apples and whole buckwheat. Lemmy enjoyed his special birdy bread with carrots, dates and squash seeds.
Then it was time for naps!
(I feel kinda bad for waking him up by taking a picture. Poor guy. He's all tucked in again now though!)
