Biking along the boulevard
There was a large seizure of horses in Huntington, WVA and the horses aren't in the best of shape. They've been given over to the shelter who has limited resources and is trying to cope with making sure they're all taken care of. Right now they're trying to find foster homes and transportation. One horse that's in need of a home for the winter is a half blind mare named Sparkles.

How does this happen so many times. The laws in WV on charge offenders w/a misdeameanor for animal cruelty, no matter how horrible the conditions are. Thats even if they are charged @ all. Hoping Sparkles finds a wonderful home. We no longer have barns/fencing for livestock or I would be tempted. So sad.
