gross tasting liquid

sorry for the terrible title haha I didn't know what to name it

I just got a thought... I have some kind of nail polish stuff that is meant for people who bite their nails. The liquid tastes very bitter and gross.

What if I were to put it on stuff I don't want the bird to bite on. (cables, fingers, lamps, etc)

I would never do this without knowing 100% that it's safe (probably I will never do it at all), but it was just a passing thought.

What do you think?

No, you can not use anything like that.

Plus, birds have completely different taste buds then us. You are going to have to get creative or move the things you want to stay nice.

Those things rely on the the same stuff that is in hot peppers last I knew. Which birds are immune to!

when i used it as a kid it was peppers lol. but that was a long time ago. Regardless, they don't have very good sense of taste so it'd likely be lost on them (ours is about 30 times more developed)
