Hi all, I'm new to this wonderful community and already enjoying my time here!

I'm a 25 year-old graphic designer who has always had a thing for birds. I own Fidj, a GCC, since Feb. 2011. She hatched on Dec. 17th 2010 so she will be turning 3 just over a month from now. She comes from a breeder, not a pet store. Here is a picture of her I've just taken!

Right now I'm considering getting a second conure as you can surely tell from my signature. Dusky conures would be my first choice but since I live in an apartment (for now) I might go for a smaller Pyrrhura species like the Black-Capped or the Fiery-Shouldered. Part of the reason I've joined this forum is because I want to gather as much information as I can before getting my next bird.

Alo et bienvenue a AA, Jessica. Je m'apelle Sandra e j'avais 13 green cheek conures (gccs). Four are cinnamon, 3 are yellow sided and the rest are normal gccs. My 7 years of school French (40+ years ago) didn't cover birds or animals very much, I can only say that I have approximately 30 perroquets.
