Gram stain

Have my parrotlet a gram stain with a crop swab he has some neg bacteria, so he was put on antibiotics, the results didn’t include the % of bacteria what test does that? Is it a culture and sensitivity of the crop or something elese ?

The gram stain would show the percentage of negative bacteria. It won't show what specific bacteria it is or what antibiotics are best to fight that specific bacteria. That's a culture sensitivity.

has soft green poops and a swollen glotis found on examine, we did a gram stain from a swab down the throat but the vet said it dosent give the bacteria percentage I did ask what test does show the %(but was never answered) and can we do a culture of the same thing(throat swab) they said it might not show anything and suggested a midog test

Gram negative bacteria are mostly consider abnormal. I've seen tests results as given positive for, negative none seen, or results given as few/mod/many, and as % like you mentioned.
