Chickie caique has a long beak and liver issues. She takes milk thistle. Have the vet check her out for bile acid levels. And of course a complete blood workup.

dont get it trimmed or else you'll have to get it done regularly. My vet wont touch beaks unless medically necessary.

shes been on small bird seed, and walmart parrot food honestly and spent the majority of her life out of her cage on a stand that has no varying degrees of sizes just one perch and a floor on the stand for her poop. She was well loved but not fed well from the food products I got her nails are also long. Not a novice to the long beaks and long nails thing. Her nutrition is way off and she hasn't gotten many things to destroy and file her beak down.
