Goldfinch getting a drink.

In the middle of our koi pond is a quartz boulder with a hole drilled through it that has water bubbling out of it and down the side of the boulder. The birds have figured out it's a convenient place for a drink, like this goldfinch.

That's a great idea! I wonder if I could do that with our pond. Which is devoid of fish, since something came and ate six huge koi and killed the catfish that was too big to haul out.

I have seen birds drink from the pond before too. Not a nice little finch, though.
