l got a nice travel cage for my gcc for trips to the vet etc. I thought maybe she would enjoy riding around in the golf cart. A little variety in her life. After making sure she was comfortable with the cage , I took her out yesterday. Not sure about her reaction. She attached to the bars in the front and was very alert but didn't seem upset just quiet. Do you guys think she will come to enjoy this ,or will I just be stressing her. Any input will be appreciated.

You can start by just taking her right outside your house for short periods in order to get used to being outside. You can also cover half of the carrier with a towel so she is a little more comfortable.

She may have been a bit overwhelmed with all of the new sights and sounds.

Yesterday I took cheeky out again to my husbands workshop while we worked on her toys. Gave her a few of her favorite treats which she ate . She was mostly quiet but didn't seem alarmed. After coming back to the house and I let her out, she didnt hesitate to go in and out of her travel cage looking for treats. Hope it's a good sign.
