I wish Syd liked my mom! We keep trying, but he's having none of it. Matter of fact, the other day he went as far as complete display....feathers foofed, wings completely open, and lunging....when she sat in the chair I was in that's near his perch. (Quickly removed him from the situation, of course)
He's never done anything quite like that to anyone before. He normally just bluffs and hisses, and generally puts on a good show....

Lurch liked mom in his own grumpy way, Dobby loves every one but for some reason he always threatens and lunges when she comes over. Maybe she reminds him of some one he didn't get along with but I think maybe he likes how she always reacts and gets noisy when he does it.
