George got a clean bill of health from the vet today! She wants him to take baytril for seven more days as a precaution. No sinus clogging, no lung wheezing, everything is gone! He is healed!

I try not to let him eat unhealthy things but he'll certainly be getting a chunk of bran muffin next time I go shopping. He loves those.Glad George is 100%. Now you can take him out for a Sunflower seed Sunday!LOL
Thanks!! So am I !!
So glad he is all better!!
We used to rent too. I think what convinced my mom to start saving for a place we actually owned was the cockroaches the size of dolphins. We lived in a building in Toronto when I was little that had so many roaches that if you pulled out the breadboard above the drawers, it was COATED in roaches. You literally couldn't see the breadboard. Just roaches. They didn't even scatter they just sat there and looked at you, confident in their strength in numbers. I was 4 at the time. My mom told me never to open that breadboard, but one day I woke up early while she was still asleep, I opened it, and discovered about 100 new "pets" and quickly set to work having cockroach races on the kitchen floor and feeding them whipped cream from the fridge. My mom was not impressed and she took me to the doctor right away incase I'd caught something from handling pest roaches he he. We moved about 2 weeks later. It's a great feeling isn't it? My cockatiel ended up with an infection a while back that took weeks to treat. I kept getting sick too for some reason. As soon as I moved neither of us have had so many issues. Intuition tells me the place I was living in might have had mold and that made both of us more susceptible to illness. Lesson learned.
Edit: That is an issue about renting I guess.
