Fruit dehydrator?

Hi!

I´ve been thinking of buying a fruit dehydrator. I would like to be able to make "fruit and vegetable snacks" for my pets (I have rats and other small animals and well… the parrot obviously :bhc:) and for myself (trying to stay away from sugar and "normal" candy).

Now to my concern...could a machine like this contain Teflon? Is there any without?

This (see links below) is the type of machine I am thinking about buying, as you can see nothing super advanced...

I´m hoping I don´t have to spend crazy amounts of money to get a bird safe one...but I will naturally reconsider if these types of machines are not safe; and spend the money necessary to make sure to get a safe dehydrator. Always " bird-safety first" :) in my home these days.

Grateful for any and all help in this matter :thanks:
