I emailed the company and this is their response

Hello,

We advise to store our products always in a cool (max 18°C) and dry environment, certainly once opened. In those circumstances, the product will keep his nutritional value until the expiring date on the packaging. In a hot climate it is preferable to put an opened bag in cold-storage room or fridge to keep down the temperature. We do not recommend to store in a freezer, as freezing will destroy vitamins.

Regards,

I have read the opposite that heat will destroy vitamins. I have in the past put hand feeding formula in the freezer. It was used up so quickly there was no issues and my bird (Kazoo) that ate it for comfort feedings as a baby is alive and well today at alittle over 9 yrs old.

I wouldn't freeze long term but as they suggest put the open bag in the fridge?

Well people seem to think that freezing any foods will prolong the life. Even if frozen it still expires on label date. I freeze my foods (pellets, seeds, etc) to prevent any buggies from hatching.
