I've been doing this for years with Jingo. It is his favorite activity, and Bobber likes it too! I use a basket though that they can climb into, and add shredded paper 
Last night I looked over the web page of Windy City Parrots and I have to say it is well organized, customer friendly and just full of good things for birds. That is where the above video came from.
