With the dry winter air here in central Canada my 2.5 year old male parrotlet seems to have an extra flaky beak (and feet). Anything I can do to help him out a little?

Coconut oil can work wonders topically for one week. I did this for my budgies cere and it looked like new. Now i apply it once per week. Do you run humidifier?

I don't have a humidifier but I could look into one if it'll help.

I boil a large pot of water on the stove (supervised of course) when our humidity gets lower than 40%.

As a fellow central Canadian dessicating from dryness, I can't overstate the importance of a good little $20 humidifer. My fids had super flaky beaks and dry feet before I got a couple for them.
