I have had Kooki for about 3 weeks now and I am wondering if what I am doing is correct and best for her. I was mixing a variety of fresh fruits and veggies up and giving it to her but noticed she was only eating the fruit, so I thought I would do veggies first and at a later time fruits since she seems to prefer the fruits. How often do you feed your parrots fresh veggies and fruits? Also right now I leave plenty of a mixture of tropimix and zupreem fruit blend in her cage at all times. I would love your feedback. Her weight has been ranging 128-130 grams.

Thank you!

I always give my gang mixed dishes of food, to keep them interested

The morning feed is mainly veggies, with a little HIGH QUALITY seed, some scrambled egg, or VERY small pieces of apple diced in, maybe a little cheese, or even banana bread. Lots of variety, some surprises.

Fruit is much later in the day, and not much apple either, (McDonalds for birdies)

A high quality pellet mix is available at all times. Nuts as a treat only
