What do you guys think of FeatherSweaters? I was considering getting one for Bee and then I realized that it probably wouldn't be the most comfortable thing, and she might not like it. Does anyone have one? Does it keep your bird warm, and if so, do they tear it apart?

I know people who use things like that for pluckers but I haven't actually heard of people using them to keep a bird warm. I know a bird will poof up and such to regulate its body temperature so I'd imagine this would hinder the birds ability to regulate its own body temperature. Is your bird going to be in an extremely cold area or something?

The fabric is soft and not scratchy. It does keep them a bit warmer , but it doesn't cover their wings. The sungglies (sold by the same company) are a bit warmer and much harder to destroy.

If Bee is going to be in a warm area, I don't think that the sweater will help much.
