Hi everyone, besides Casper still not liking ANY type of fruit or veggie except almost cooked sweet potatoes ... I'm finding small kinda fuzzy little feathers on the bottom of his cage. Is this a sign of an illness or possibly his baby feathers coming out? Casper is an extremely happy Cockatiel. He sings, dances, whistles special whistles I've taught him, does kisses sounds...hes really learning alot and is finally getting closer to me. But seeing these feathers on the bottom of the cage is worrying me.

That's about the right time for him to be starting his first molt, 4-5 months.

Remember too that birds molt body feathers like that on a regular basis, just like we shed hair
