The youngest chick sadly passed away today. Sekhmet hadn't been spending as much time in the nest... I'm thinking the chick chilled. :sad5:
I have taken them from their mother now, and am hand feeding. They're set up in a small brooder, and they all seem to be doing well. The youngest one (now) very greedily takes food, and seems eager for it all the time. The two older ones are still getting the hang of being fed from a syringe, but their crops are full, and they are active and seem healthy. I was able to feed them a bit, as well, and there's plenty of poop!
Mom has her sister in the cage with her now for company.
