Farlie
Rollerblading along the road
He's always picked at them whenever I'd offered either hardboiled or softboiled to him but never dove into either as a great meal until...
I hardboiled two eggs this morning, put one in the fridge and sliced up the other one. Well, really only about 2/3 of the other one. I placed four slices on a piece of homemade bread covered in Mayo and left the rest of the egg in a clear glass bowl to munch on later. I pinched off a small piece of crust to keep him busy while I went back to the fridge to get some leftover chicken to place on top of the four slices of egg. As I turned back from the fridge I saw Farlie sitting on the edge of the bowl just helping himself to the leftover egg, the yolk, and the albumen. I chuckled at him cuz he was going at it like there wasn't going to ever be any more eggs ever in this world again.
By the time I'd finished building my chicken & egg sandwich he had that 1/3 leftover egg in a bazillion pieces. Most of the yolk was gone and the albumen was all over the inside of the bowl. He even had egg all over his beak!
When I asked him what he was doing, he just looked at me with one eye for a few seconds then dove back into the bowl of egg again.
I guess Farlie really likes eggs now.
