Fake Plants?

So I have 2 Zebra Finches and I’ve seen people drape plants in finch enclosures and I was wondering if I could do that with fake plants? Or are they real ones? I feel like it just gives a nicer aesthetic to the cage. Thanks

To drape plants in the cage, they must be bird safe. (and keep the soil away so they can´t reach that bit).
I think plastic ones would only be a problem if the birds ate them or nibbles them. To hide behind could be good fun.

I have had a fake aquarium plant with the base inside and its vines woven thru the bars with my finches for six months now. It looks like a pothos plant vines. I also have flat ones like magnolia leaves and ferns taped behind the cage as decor/privacy. So far so good. they do pull at the inside one occasionally but it is very strong and no damage has been accomplished to date. they love to hop behind it! I give them small animal hay to play with and they love to bring it behind and attempt nest building I think. I have two Male gouldians. I will attempt to add a photo.

Goodness why am I just now seeing this?
People use both silk and plastic. Either one works, you have to trim loose threads off the silk ones. Though I haven’t had to do that much.

I’ll try to dig up some photos. We just took ALL of ours down for cleaning.

 Your secret is safe on AA :)
I sometimes see gouldians in the pet shop where I buy the dove food and my seeds. They aren´t as nice as yours though - pet shop birds always look a little tatty, poor guys. I´ll probably head down there in the morning so I can see them all eating their veggies :)
