F10 Use for PBFD?

So I spoke with the petstore worker while buying f10 to sterilise the balcony where infected 'toos sit, and she told me: "It wont get rid of the disease, but greatly minimise the chances of it coming inside- but it can remove paint, eat through steel/metal so needs to be washed off after 10 minutes. It can also cause skin irritation and sores.".
Is this how I should use it? Spray the concentrated f10 on, let sit for 10 min and then wash off? What's others experience with f10, as im a bit wary to use it now lol.

I've never rinsed F10 in over a decade of use on cages, tanks, in my kitchen, office, and workshop. I have sensitive skin; most household cleaners I get a rash from. I've never had a reaction to F10.

This is when properly diluted of course.

The one with detergent (ends in XD) I would rinse, but not the other.

I have terribly sensitive skin and react to many cleaners, lotions, soaps etc yet I spray myself with a strong concentration of F10sc whenever touching the wild bird feeder or helping wild birds and I don’t rinse it off and I have had no problems, my paint on my car never reacted to being sprayed with F10 and my mum has been using it on and also inside her car for disinfecting between clients since the start of covid and she has no damage to any surfaces at all.

Will it still have a significant effect on the PBFD? I've been avoiding going outside due to how much the sick birds are coming around.

F10SC is concentrated so is designed to be diluted as per directions

Dilute as per the instructions for it to be effective, don't wash off until the minimum contact time has past (this will often depends on if your using it for virus, fungus , bacteria, etc. check the instructions it should say), but I can see that F10 says you don't have to rinse off.
If she meant you won't fully remove the virus, she's probably right, outdoors is difficult to sanitize.
