Omg I’m ridiculously excited! Im on my way to pick up the new bird! I have been driving for about an hour and a half, right now I’m stopped at maccas for a drink then I’ll drive for another hour and a half and I’ll be there!!! :sunflower:

I’ll give you guys lots of updates on the trip home since someone else will be driving then.

I GOT HIM! They think it’s a him but their not certain (I don’t mind either way) I really liked it there they made sure we had a large flight cage and were bombarding us on the right diet and letting them out of the cage a lot etc until they realised we had already ridiculously researched. He’s on a pellet diet with some seeds, veggies and fruit daily. So I won’t have to convert a seed junkie yay!

I’m actually shaking right now I’m so happy.

She has eaten which is good! I offered her an almond but she didn’t take it understandably. Poor thing is very spooked and staying as far away from me as she can. She’s making little chirp sounds every now and then which makes me melt!

Update: I have decided to call him/her Yoshi! Anyway Yoshi is playing with her toys but she’s not sitting on the perches next to the toys, no she’s hanging on to the side of the cage with her tail feathers poking out the cage bars whilst she tries to make the chosen toy fall to the ground.

Atm she’s taking HUGE mouthfuls of pellets dropping every single one of them on the floor then slowly eating one.
