We had a bit of technical difficulties and mum was unable to incubate the single egg we had in the nestbox - I have thrown it in an incubator and it was fertile and began to develop.
At day 5 there is a very small red ring in the egg, it does not go around the circumference of the egg and it is not complete. There is a section of the ring which is much thicker than the rest.
Did it die? I am worried... It does not look anything like red rings I have found online.
