I used Americolor and I think they turn out pretty good for a first attempt!

I have no doubt! What size are they? They look rather big! Could your cheekie chew those? My lovies have taken in a love for beads too, I have to try and get them Some bigger ones soon!

They are 10mm (3/8"). They did swell up quite a bit from soaking so maybe thats why they look so big? I've been using them to refill Bean and Papaya's Tweety Pie toys. I think my lil conures could definitely chew them but they have no interest in beads. Its my Blue Crown and Sun Conure who do and they can snap beads up to a 1" in size, the 3/8" ones are their favorite size for sure.

I agree, they look very professional. Good job! :)
DIY is so fun.
I made my own pieces of natural wood and I some I colored with blueberries. But NO, they don't look professional but my birds like them.
