Awwww! Duckie is a little boy!!! It's good that you know now. What are your plans at this point for getting another conure?
Duckie's a dude?OMG!! I was expecting an email, but never got one, so just checked the iQBirdTesting website, looked at my account AND...the results are in!!
I cannot explain how, like...utterly surprised I am, even thought that's what I guessed!
...There, I voted.
Well, the little girl Green Cheek that we met I think is TOO GOOD to pass up! I AM afraid to deal with hormones, and eggs, and all that stuff....EEEE! But I'll discuss it with the girl at the rescue. =))Awwww! Duckie is a little boy!!! It's good that you know now. What are your plans at this point for getting another conure?
I know! How will I ever get used to saying "he" after 9 years?? Haha. Crazy!Duckie, Duckie, Duckie...boy, oh boy...

I guess so! I keep thinking...so "she's a boy!?", oh wait...Duckie's a dude?
...I know. But with all boys (were that the case), I wouldn't have that "problem". BUT I think I'll just have to get used to this extra element of parronthood, because I'm pretty sure I can't pass up the little one in waiting...Girl birds can lay eggs without boy birds. (I'll tell you when you're older.) But al least now you know to swap out any eggs asap.
Hey, we don't judge, missy. We love them all equally. But yeah, we really do.I guess so! I keep thinking...so "she's a boy!?", oh wait...
I do too. Yeah, I have noticed. I remember somewhere here there was a "Princess Mitch". Hehe. Always cracked me upHey, we don't judge, missy. We love them all equally. But yeah, we really do.
Have you noticed how many birds have opposite-gender names? At least Duckie's is neutral.
Haha! Thanks!
Thank you! Even though you and I were both hoping for a girl, I'm not sad. It's very exciting to know.Congrats!!!
9 years?! Oh my... I went 2 ish years calling Sherbie a boy. It was hard changing over to the female pronoun. It probably took me a month or two to get used to it though.Well, the little girl Green Cheek that we met I think is TOO GOOD to pass up!
