I just thought I'd go ahead and ask in case I decide to do this in the future.

Anyways, I was wondering if parrot rescues accept homemade bird toys? I wouldn't use just any materials for the toys. I would use 100% bird-safe toy parts sold here: A Bird Toy - Parrot Toys & Toy Making Supplies

You might be wondering, 'Why not just buy the bird toys?' Well, bird toys can be expensive, especially the ones for the bigger fellas. Plus, it'd be fun for me to make them, as I love to create things!

I am pretty sure most do. I would contact the rescue you are interested in donating to just to make sure. Also, check on their wants and needs. Also, they may have a list of bird safe items that they don't use in their rescue so verify this.

Always a good idea to keep the parts separate from your birds and air space just in case. I'm sure they will appreciate some toys! :)
