Hello - I took your advice and added more perches. I added two manzanita wood perched and one that files his nails. I also lowered the one toy that was hanging. The flexible rope one is his clear favorite but I’m not sure how to position it.

I’m other news, Dilly likes saltines and has been eating them from my hand. I also convinced him to come outside of his cage (he’s afraid of my fingers and hand). While he was out I gave him fresh honeydew and he loved it. The food that came with him has dried fruits and peppers in it. No sunflower seeds!

Any ideas on getting him to not be afraid of my hands? In order to get him back in the cage, I had to cover him with a light cloth and then pick him up.

What a cutie! He sounds like he is settling in. More toys means less exploring on you with his beak. I can't wait to hear more stories.
