Diamond or Ringneck Dove?

    Which dove is better for a beginner? (I've never had any bird experience)

    I haven't kept the doves you are asking about. I tend to think there isn't a beginner bird. They all require patience, daily care and behavioural understanding.

    I think you need to be the one who makes a choice between the two. You will be spending the most time with them.

    Only my thoughts hopefully another will contribute :)

    Rinngneck doves are less "skiddish " than diamond doves and can be kept alone, as long as you spend alot of time with them, Diamond doves do better in pairs.
