I hope that it is not cancer that wildcard better not be there I am trying to make my parrot as comfortable as I can and cleaned and put soft bedding for it so if it must sleep on the cage floor it can be comfortable
Well the hardest part is the bird has now turned one year's old. I have seen little improvement in Spunkys health it is lethargic still but trying to stay up and move around
There some frantic improvement yesterday and slight on thursday. The bird went from 49.8 grams thursday to 53.1 grams and is now retaining food and Becoming more vocal and animated. I came home to a bird with more energy and becoming closer to get normal behaviors. Called it when near cage and it jumped around and now when I give meds its starting its sassy attitude
I'm so pleased to hear some good news. Well done Spunky, keep it up - what a little fighter! I hope he continues his recovery, he's obviously in good hands.
Sad news the meds didn't reduce the infection the X-rays are worse and in a couple weeks it might come to euthanasia if the next set of meds don't work birds weight even lower today
