Day 1 so far...New rescue girl

So day 1 in quarantine is going much better than I expected. She flies to me when I enter the room. She flies to the play stand to look out the window. She snuggles with me. Has been sleeping in my hair...talking to the birds outside, and basically it's like she's been here forever.

I gave her a goji berry and she ate the whole thing. Her first time having one - that I know of - and ate it enthusiastically.

Yes, I'm very happy. Just goes to show that rescues aren't always more "difficult" than the ones you've raised. They've had her for quite a while at the rescue, and apparently she's always been sweet and loves everyone.

Thank you! I know! She's older too, almost the same age as Duckie. At 8 years old it's amazing that whatever paths and homes she has gone through would lead her to be this easy going.

What a cutie pie!!! I openly admit the green cheeks are the birds that converted me to a bird nut Prior to my daughter's first green cheek, I just tolerated the cockatiels. But the conures won me over!

That is one incredibly cute, sweet looking little rescue puff of feathers!!
