My sennie Luna and I usually have the same bedtime routine: about 30 mins before bed, he'll nosh from his pail where I've put some special treats like apple, popcorn, and nuts; and once hes had enough, he'll climb back into his cage and assume his position on his sleep perch for some beak grinding. Then I cover him up for bed.
Lately though, I've noticed that, until hes covered up, he wont beak grind but instead will move quickly from foot to foot as if he was dancing and his eyes will pin. It's only when I put the towel on his cage will he stop and do his pre-bed beak grinding. It's been going on for 2-3 weeks now.
Does anyone have this experience? Is it a happy thing?
