Should you have a cuttle bone and/or mineral block for cockatiels that are eating pellets, some seed, sprouts, veggies fruit etc? I've heard that mineral blocks are good and cuttlebone can lead to too much calcium, but I haven't really seen anyone say the pros and cons of them both..

If you have a girl, then too much calcium can lead to egg laying, because it's an easy way to get rid of the excess calcium.
Buddy has a mineral block and a cuttlebone, and she ignores both. The only time she ever used either was way back when she was laying eggs.
