This is no longer a coincidence. I've kept track over the past five seasons. The time change around here in spring when it starts to get dark is right around the bedtime for the flock. Within one or two days of the clocks changing Amanda's behaviour changes and she goes into egg laying mode exhibiting all the signs.

I really hate the time change.

Knock on wood, I don't have the same.

My cage lights are on timers and I try to keep the light hours consistent. Although they do all have winows and get the natural light.

I do the same but that that extra hour of light right at bedtime that "leaks" into the whole house still does it.

My bird has been going freaking nuts since the seasons changed.
