I'm considering a collar for Ophelia, who plucks her lower tummy (medical causes ruled out by the vet).

Can anyone who's used these collars give me input on them?

2) Patti Lemaire Circle of Life Avian Collar:

For those who have used both, is there one you prefer over the other? Or are they both about the same and only differ aesthetically?

Do they just slip over the head?

I have the first one pictured, while I love it Binky is getting around it. I may need to try the other.

Binky can not reach his belly in your case.
Can Binky eat fine with the collar on? Does it restrict his mobility at all? Ophelia is a very active bird.

They slip on and velcro closed. You cut the opening to the size you need... mine is pretty tight still.

Binky is very active, eats and flys without issue. Sleeping looks annoying but when you have no choice... you have no choice.
