Sprinting down the street
I have a 2.5 month old Cockatiel. I hate to get his feathers cut when they grow out. I would like other ideas if the halter is a safe way to allow them flight without flying away. Thanks.

There are several bird harnesses that are safe as long as you acclimate the bird to it properly

Agreed also, with a gust of wind(or without for that matter, my lovebird for example could fly really well with cut feathers) he could be gone. It is really safer to always have him on a harness or inside a carrier, regardless if wether he is clipped or not

I just ordered it.How about the flight line or Yard perch made by the same company. Are they also good to exercise your bird?
