Hello
Can someone help me with my cockatiel?
He has damaged his eye and I think he may be blind. This is not due to infection, he has crashed into the cage when he was out.

Took him to the vets yesterday and they have given him pain relief and antibiotics.
He has started twitching while he is resting now.
Can anyone advise?
Please see pictures. I have a video

I'm worried for your bird. I'm glad you are seeking veterinarian care.

To Me looks fluffed and trying to fight sleep and weakness.

Xtra lovin' care, Xtra yummy food. Warmer home, radiant heat panel for birds called sweeter heater is my supplemental warmth of choice. Continuing meds and study in contact with veterinarian.

If you bird deteriorates, call your vet and let them know. Maybe send the pics via email then call on the phone so they see it.
