Hey guys,
I recently got a baby green cheek conure named Rio. He is about 4 months old and he is super clingy. I have nothing wrong with that, I love this little guy. Although, there are times I wish I can have him out of his cage where he can play on his own and not need me. He automatically find his way to me and climbs all the way up to my shoulder once I open the cage, no matter where I am. If he can stay on me 24/7 he would. I physically have to pick him up and put him in his cage otherwise he would never go back in it or leave me. Sometimes it's a struggle because he jumps right back onto me when I place him inside. Is there a way to teach him how to be independant in a way?
