The company that makes the big fancy weather station I upgraded to after having several of their less expensive older ones pretty much only does Facebook support now too. They used to have a customer website kinda like here where you could chat amongst each other, get advice, and customer service, was nice. But I think it was expensive to keep running so they went to Facebook, cheaper and faster, mostly, to get a response to service issues or questions but a lot of the old school users are ticked off they can't get the website service and info, or email support like before. I have used it and they respond within a day or less and will get my issues sorted out so I'm happy just like you ended up. Folks having issues with anything might want to see if whoever it is has a Facebook page for questions and support. Most do now and many times the support is faster and more direct there.
