I already left the details when I replied to a different thread, and I was asked to keep updating. So here is my thread to keep you updated on Chrissy's whereabouts and stuff.
So, Chrissy escaped while I was out helping my neighbor retrieve their budgie, Chrissy escaped his locked cage, clipped, yet still an amazing flyer. He mostly likely moulted some of them and was growing them in when he escaped. He was last seen this morning flying North in the state of Maine. Chrissy is a normal green budgie, he is a male.
I've got ads all over the internet about a lost bird, explaining when and where he was last seen, not my exact location though, only what region of Maine I'm in (western Maine, southern Maine, northern Maine, eastern Maine, central Maine). I've called local shelters, pet stores, but I don't have flyers (unfortunately I can't get flyers due to problems), he escaped Monday June 12th, around 9am, he was snatched by a bird about two hours later at 11am, was seen again out on my front porch this morning (June 14th) at 10am, and flew North just seconds later.

I thought he was killed by the bird that attacked him, but he proved me wrong this morning, I hope he will return safe and sound to his cage.
My flock and I really miss him,:crycry2:

although Elvis is the only one not flock calling when audio is played, he sings at his normal times (late morning and mid afternoon) but that's just soft whistles and clicking. Elvis probably wouldn't care if the others died, he wants ALL the attention, little spoiled birdy brat.
(Sorry, just tried to add something to lighten to mood, everyone knows that cockatiels are jealous brats that want everyone to focus on them!)

Chrissy the day before he escaped. :sad5:

Oh, he's precious! How frustrating that he was on your porch, but then flew. I hope you get him back soon!

Can you put a cage outside in case he flies home? He must be hungry by now.

Quick update.
It's too cold to have my birds outside today, I opened a window in the living room and left the door to the kitchen open. If they make noise you'll be able to here it from outside. I opened the window in the living instead of the kitchen because there are no screens in the Windows in the kitchen.
Hopefully, if Chrissy is still in the area, he will hear them. I haven't heard or seen him since Wednesday.

:sad1: Come home Chrissy! Your flock needs you.

I think budgies are very tough little birds...I hope he finds his cage quickly!!

I have bad news.

I received a call yesterday about a little green parrot, that's not the bad part, bad part is, little green parrot had been hit by a car. I went to check it out, it was a budgie, looked exactly like Chrissy, even had the one yellow feather on the back of his head. A male green budgie had been hit by a car, I cried.

When one door closes another door opens. I just have to wait for that other door to open.
