That's a great toy. I know a few birds who would have enjoyed that. :)

hey Matt, could you please make an @vendors so that we can broadcast to all vendors? I'd like someone to locate the source of this toy or create an equivalent. It's made out of dried grasses. thanks!

How long/high is that toy? I have raffia but not braided, that's probably seagrass.

I'll measure it tonight. Raffia that long is dangerous, the grasses it's made of are very stiff.

I do have some braided seagrass but I think it is too thick, I would not be able to shape it like how the one you show. I can get braided seagrass ... what is the width of a braid and what diameter size of the colored wood wheels are those?

length of toy 9". width of toy 2 1/2", width of braid almost 1". Wheel I think is 3/4". Next time one gets pulled out I'll confirm. The wheels are hot glued in. The grass is very stiff but not sharp, kind of like a broom? thanks Jan!

I have what I think is the proper thickness of seagrass braid on order. The seagrass is 7/8" wide. So when I get it in by the end of this coming week, I will play and experiment to make it similar of how the Frayed Knot toy is but I will name it something else. With Chopper's out of biz, I should be safe to make them but won't duplicate it exact ... plus I won't use the hot glue to glue the wheels in. I can place the wheels in by other means, I believe. If you have any better pics of the toy you can show me, that might be helpful.

Even if this seagrass does not work out, I have other ways to use it in toys.

Oh my ... can I get millions for it? LOL!! Can't you just take a couple of pics of one like how the top is? I'm pretty sure just by looking at your one photo, there are probably 2-3 braids that are joined together in the centers and they are kind of criss cross weaved throughout. Something like that.

@Jan I've just stumbled on this thread. Were you able to make this toy? It would be a good one.:fairy3:

No, sorry, the seagrass I have is too stiff, I know it is not the right stuff for it.
