Chickie did 18 one way flights tonight

And 19 the day before. Only 6 yesterday. I sprayed her after, she gets overheated. No weight loss but hopefully building up muscle mass!

Charlie is doing one way flights right now too. He's pretty chubby and needs to get in shape if he wants to keep up with the other budgies! We're also working on navigation too.

The tiny house finch we raised would get over heated if outside in the sun, or even if I held her too long in my hand and start panting. The quick fix was to give her some cold water to drink and she loved it and would be as good as new after a few slurps.

Don't worry about that. Muscles weigh more then fat, and as long as she is healthy a higher weigh is not so dangerous.
A flying bird will always be a healthy bird, and she do eat great food too.
I don't think you have anything to worry about now.
