Good morning!
The turkeys & chickens are laying eggs. I have 20 chicken eggs and 6 turkey eggs incubating. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with having both in the house together.
In a couple weeks the first ones will hatch. I will have the brooder set-up in the room next door to where Moto is, and I am wondering if there are any problems with this. The chicks typically live in the house until they are 3-4 weeks old and then they go out to the coop. We are in Florida and it is fairly warm here but I like to do the chicks indoors, especially the turkey chicks as they are more sensitive than the chickens.

The only thing I can think of is just to make sure your brooder bulb isn't Teflon coated.
Congrats on your eggs!

So jealous! Please I am begging you to post photos of the chicks when they hatch! I love chickens but have always wanted a turkey.

Forgot to mention I am in FL! Perhaps you'd like to pass along one? Eh eh? Hehe
