Pictures Cheddar's being a PITA

He has had more "Time Outs' today that the rest of the time he's been here put together! He was so cranked up that it was like handling a run chainsaw. Of course as it's getting close to bedtime he calms down a bit and wants a boat load of attention. I always said about Streak my Parrotlet, that only reason we hadn't wiped them from the face of the planet is that they are so cute...I think Conures have this down as well.

Just finished closing up the bird room curtains, switching off lights, etc. but I had Sun Tikki on my shoulder so I could spend some people time with him. Out of the dark comes Beni, alpha gcc, who picks a fight with Tik on my shoulder and actually chases him off me and on to the top of the fridge before I could shoo Beni away. Things used to happen in reverse - Tik would go after Beni - until the gccs started working as a gang.

It must be something in the air as my CAG was a total PITA today.

And now I have Beni on my shoulder (everyone else is in bed). Beni is officially the bird I've had the longest. Kiwi was the first, tiel Sunny was second and Beni was third followed by Loki - 2008.

Maybe a full moon?

I don't know. I just got home and Bella huffed and hissed at me. But 20 minutes dealing with pin feathers settled her down.

Cheddar is adorable. I guess that prevents him from becoming cheddar soup!

As to be expected... birds will be ... birds! Ruby has been super pinchy on me when I'm changing papers and wiping the floor up the past couple of days. She stays on my shoulder while I work to clean their cages, hangs off the front of my shirt when I'm bending over, on my back... she covers a lot of territory on my body! She can be super "licky" on my neck, ears, face. But the last two days she's been giving me a lot of tiny annoying pinches all over my neck and arms. I can tolerate quite a bit but it does get annoying so I'll point my finger at her and give her a talking to. I know why she is doing it. She wants me to stand still so she can settle for some attention. Bless her little pea pickin' heart... the girl wants some loving!
