How sad, it's New Year's Eve and I'm watching Chaos with his new Clanger Banger. I hung that new toy up in his cage today.
And Oh my goodness! This is better than any party.
When I first put it in, he was angry.
So I stuck a walnut in that big bottom scoop. He looked at it for a moment, they slowly took it out and ate it. That was good. I watched him bang the toy about a few times. I went and got a Brazil nut this time. Instead of putting it in the scoop, I offered it through his bars. He just looked at me, just sat there. Then he walks over to that toy, and looks at it.
Can he mean for me to put it in? No way...., well I'll try and see if he's happy if I do it. So, in goes the nut. Yep! He reaches up with one foot to hold it steady, then he reaches in and removes the nut. He looks so proud of himself! So after that, I go about my business in the computer room.
All night I hear Clang...Bang...Clang-Clang, Bang-Bang. I think he's enjoying his toy.
It's bedtime and I stop to say goodnight. I put one more nut in the scoop. He delicately reaches in and takes it. I have a brillant thought! "Chaos I say, put the nut in your Clanger Banger". I talking, gesturing, trying to get him to understand.
What does my genius bird do?
Reaches up with one foot, steadies the scoop, and carefully drops his nut in the Clanger Banger!
Chaos is a star! 
I knew he was smart, but this blew me away.
Gosh I love this big fellow!
