I have never heard of any fruit seeds being safe. JMHO I wouldn't do it unless someone has hard evidence of it being ok.

Bodie has been eating them for years with no problem. I make sure I buy organic cantalope and wash really really good.

I did a tiny bit of research, will do more in a bit, but from what I'm getting, melon and gourd seeds are usually safe :D

Pumpkin seeds are a huge fav here. I haven't tried melon seeds though... :)

Feed them to mine when ever we have them! Feed my birds orange seeds/grapefruit seeds/lime/lemons etc...they love them!

Yes, I'm pretty sure melon seeds are safe, as I've seen them in healthy dried mixes for parrots.
