Training is coming along. I can get her to step up on my finger without much work. So far I have her step up then ask her to step right back off. That way she thinks it was my idea. Or is it the other way around. lol

The colour of the cere gives it away. It's a nice solid pinkish purple, which is typical for male Ino budgies. He won't develop the regular blue cere.

You beat me to it lol ino males ceres never turn blue if he was a hen he would have a whiter cere

Wow! Whether a boy or a girl, Candy is BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations! He reminds me of one of my budgies, Buttercup, who passed away a couple of years ago. Enjoy their company!

I have a young creamino female and her cere is very light blue with white around the nostrils, yours definitely is male!

I did too but I have to defer to @PoukieBear , a wizard at these things. I'm giving up and if I ever have one I will ask the board if it's male or female!
