Yes! How do we keep from dyeing our hands? An "art" project for the girls?
Here's a link that was posted on a previous thread: Food Coloring Wilton's UPATED DIRECTIONS | Avian Avenue Parrot Forum
I'm not sure if this is the one you found on CAbirdnerds site but I want to put it here just in case: VitaCritter
Hope this helps
Thanks Shawna!I dry mine on cooling racks you'd use for baking
Really? do you have multicolored hands? My nieces help me sometimes and once the 12 year old dumped an entire bowl of orange coloring on herself. That is what she gets for being goofy. It was pretty funny, but only once and only because we were outside!Live on the edge. No gloves I live on the edge
Thanks Dawn. Already the nine year old is looking forward to bluehands!Live on the edge. No gloves I live on the edge
I have fifty lb of wood! Guess I should do a lb at a time or something. @calibird are you sure I don't need to add water to the dye and alcohol mixture?I wear gloves. For a smaller batch you can use a bowl or I like the batter bowls, they look like a very large measuring cup with a spout. I like deeper containers rather than wide shallow ones. You can use kitchen utensils since it is all food grade material, except the toy parts. I like to use a slotted spoon to take things out of the dye.
