Can I pet different birds in same place?

Hi, I pet Budgerigar since 2 month. Recently I want to pet Cockatiel, Lovebird and Finch. But I have no another Place to pet. So, Can I able to pet Cockatiel, Lovebird, Budgeriager and Finch in different cage at same place. Can It will hurt them? can they will get problem when they breeding? Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum! I would not suggest putting different species birds in the same cage. You would need a separate cage to quarantine your new bird for at least 30 days before even introducing them to each other.

Do you mean you have to use the same cage to pet them because otherwise they resist? Only pet a bird when they want to, when they choose to be pet:) I also wouldn’t recommend putting them in the same cage.

I don’t see why not, but do you have to catch them to do so? Do they come to you?
